    It gets packed with everything. In the winter the slush turns to ice, then it bangs on the floor pan really loud. My mud flaps helped a bit, but it still makes its way in there.

    I don't have the size for the threading but there is a 10MM bolt on the other side of the engine that holds in the battery ground. That bolt and threading fits. You can take it out and figure out the thread size based on the ground bolt.

    I believe it's a 10 MM bolt. Possibly 12 MM.

    No I do not have mudflaps. And it’s only been in wet packed sand once since I put that on. The only possible thing that I can think of is pulling my boat out of the ramp- tires get wet with saltwater. Pull the boat out and the saltwater gets into the pipe. But I am still shocked that this would corrode so fast. What does someone who lives in snow and salted roads do? This wouldn’t last a week on salted roads.
