Thats a really small wire to power the fuse block. Is that breaker rated the same as the wire?

 

Good catch.
The breaker is rated at 50A because it was one that I bought some time ago for my jeep, when I was expecting to run stuff that needed it. I never installed it and it sat in a box for the last few years. I used that because it was what I had on hand, and I needed the switch aspect way more than I needed the amperage. The aux fuse box is just going to be used to run LED pods that are typically at about 4-8 amps. Nothing heavy. I'll probably order a lower amp cutoff and replace this one. I really only need the 30 amp, and even then that is going to be pretty far beyond what I actually expect to run. But again, I'm really only using it for the cutoff capability.
I've also got some 10 gauge wire that I was planning on using for the lead from the battery to the breaker and then from the breaker to the fuse panel. I didn't have terminals that would fit on the posts for heavier gauge wire, and since I was just wiring up one circuit of low amp draw to test this see how it would work, I just used the narrow gauge wire. When I start wiring in my components (which haven't arrived yet) the heavier wire will be on there.

Still at home currently with 4 out of 5 days of remote training and conferences this week.
And Summit Racing is currently on my crap list because the winch mount that I ordered in mid October that was supposed to be here on the 2nd, then the 3rd, then the 5th, is now posted at November 30.
