I have a single cab- currently running the kicker 10" enclosure+sub cvt combo- i have a 1000w kenwood mono block pushing it- way more power than it needs, but it sounds like it appreciates it! for my speakers, I am waiting to make the purchase for components, but I am running a pair of comp kenwoods- they are pushed by a cheap 1000w sony but meh- it plays very loud! Oh, also have a pioneer deck with ipod interface- love it! though I will warn you- i get slight amp whine from the pioneer adn I guess they are notorious for this- good luck with your setup!

Oh cool I'm in old town katy. 300-500 can get you a decent system. Are you looking for sound quality or just going loud? Here's a vid of my 2 SA- 8's mated to a saz 1200 watt amp by sundown audio. Setup was around $550 and it's tuned super low around 28 hrtz for sound quality.
