Mirror Mod Finished

2013 4 runner ltd mirrors with turn signal, puddle light, heat and color matched caps all on a 2015 Tacoma dbl cab. Learned some valuable things-Toyota made a mid year change in 2013... the later mirrors don't fit the Tacoma perches, but the 2010 to early 2013 do. That was expensive. The lesson. Should have just ordered 2012 mirrors and not learned the lesson... Wiring is not quite done. Need to figure out how to wire my fancy timer into the circuit for the heat switch. Soon though. Everything else works great. No drop tailgate and fancy mirrors. What more could a Taco ask for?

another alternative is using something like this or just build your own with a transistor and capacitor circuit.

Wolstentech has a delay relay that I used. Mirrors work great!

 

I don't know either. The mirrors didn't have them on when I got them. I put on the silver ones when I was finished; but, wishing I had put led bulbs in for the puddle lights. I asked around on here and where the 4Runner guys hang and never did get an answer. Sorry.
