I recommend that you opt for the led headlights, you will not be disappointed with the performance. Other than that the truck is great and can easily tow a cargo trailer.

    Good luck with your purchase

...well yeah, why would you compare a fully loaded tundra to a base silverado diesel? I did an apples to apples comparison of the base model crew max 4x4 of both trucks. If you want to compare a base SR tundra double cab, you're looking at 36k msrp, so 14k less than the base model you posted.

So, now we need a 3/4 ton truck to tow 3,500 lbs? lol

Gasser 3/4 ton in any trim, will out tow the Tundra. Period.

Simple. Your Tacoma is WAY better than mine.

You can get a base 3/4 ton for less money then a base Tundra, someone was comparing prices from truck to truck.
My GM’s have proven to be as problem free as the 3 Tacoma’s and 3 tundras I’ve had, so to listen to you guys is truly funny.

Depends on your needs, the Sport suspension is great on pavement, holds well, it's also decent off road. The off-road suspension is designed for.... you guessed it, off road. But it seems that most that go off road, tend to upgrade the suspension.

I own the sport, but will say I think the off road would have been purchase for me if I got an automatic. The auto off road comes with crawl control, how ever the manual transmission does not have crawl control.

And again, I don't know why you would want to compare the two. It's like comparing a point guard forward to a linebacker and saying the point guard is a better athlete because he can jump higher
