    Hey guys, first post on here.

    Finally getting new tires on my 2019 OR. Looking at the Cooper AT3 4s because of the performance on wet and snowy roads. I live in western Oregon and we see a lot of rain (obviously) and I drive in snow often December thru March. Sand and light off roading the rest of the year. Has anyone made the switch between these two? Any other suggestions on all-terrain tires for these conditions?

    I put on General ATX on my tacoma recently. I got them based on the 60k warranty and 3 peak snow rating. I have yet to drive them in snow, but they have been amazing in the rain thus far.

    There are a lot of good AT's on the market right now.

    Falken AT3W is easily the most popular. The only complaint I've heard is balancing issues, but this seems to be the exception.

    I have Toyo open country AT3 and am very satisfied in all conditions so for. I haven't driven in the snow with them yet, though.

    I know a bunch of guys who like BFG KO2's. I had a set and liked them as well. There are mixed reviews about wet traction, though.

    If you're not playing in the rocks, stick to an SL rated tire as they will be lighter and more comfortable.

    There are plenty of other good options as well.

    I could be wrong but I don't think the KO2s do AS well as the others in the wet/snow especially over time....

    Happy with my cooper 4s performance but they are wearing faster than I'd like. I don't think I'd buy them again for that reason.

    Falkens come in LT with snowflake rating so I'll likely go that route next time.

    Lots of people go for LTs because they have more tread depth... and think because of that they will last longer.

    However, the Toyo AT3 LTs (just as an example) have a 55k mile warranty where the SL rates tires actually have a 65k mile warranty. So that theory doesn't really make sense. Others will buy E rated tires because of the thicker sidewalls purely for off road purposes. But really, 95% of people only need SL/P rated AT tires for our trucks.

    Some (most?) SL or P rated tires have a different tread compound over their LT Cousins and often have more siping which is better for wet and snow traction.
