Picked this up last night 20% off....

Update: I used this today and I am actually impressed with it as I wrenched off some tight nuts today where I should have used a 3/8 drive and socket....

I finally got around to printing them out. I printed 4 of the 6. The parts fit perfectly together.

Mind blown. I need a set of these. Had no idea this existed. Would make installs way easier and hopefully less tedious

You have the ToolBox Widget wrench/plier organizers? Any pics of your set up?

I got a new light for my workroom, it lights it up a tonne more than the 2' one from 1988.
I got a cheapy cheap vise from Harbor Freight too, on the bottom right. It was only 26$ with a coupon. I just needed something solid on the bench, quick grips don't always cut it.

    1111201545_HDR.jpg

The picture doesn't really do it justice, it's much better lighting.
I know it's messy, I just finished installing my Wife's lift and have not fully cleaned up yet.

Nice. I've watched a lot of video reviews of the widgets. I am pretty sold on them. How do you like them? Do they save a lot of space?

They do save space honestly. However, they are a bit pricier than one would think. The cool thing though is they are magnetic - they stick to the drawer pretty good. I see some people use them to sort out their ratchets and extenders as well, and I have for a couple of my extensions.

I’d like something like that for sockets. I don’t take my trays out of my box, so really would just want something I can stick to the drawer magnetically that’s essentially a single post in 1/4 3/8 and 1/2.

My socket trays are not magnetic (that I can remember any way) but you can buy them here:

I have trays already, I meant I’d like something like a toolbox widget that is a single magnetic socket post, so basically omitting the tray for individual posts. Then it would be really space conscious, modular, expandable, and tedious to align. All things that appeal to my OCD.

The cost would be absurdly high for such an item. I’m not sure it exists, 3D printing if you had one would be feasible.

been looking for something similar, all I found were these, can’t seem to find a single row version. I think Kobalt use to have something similar.

I’d like a compact mag tray, but one thing I don’t want is more sockets than tray space, or less sockets than tray space. I think one of the big tool brands have a metal plate system that basically is modular and can be setup like a pegboard. But, it’s super expensive even for pro technicians with credit lines. I don’t need anything that robust but the overall concept of a peg for everything is really appealing. Neodymium magnets are inexpensive, so being able to 3D print some studs and widgets with a pocket to glue in a magnet would be awesome.
