    I just took off as much as possible, I will fabricate a plate when I get around to it. This is the second one that I have done, but the GX is going to be different than the Tacoma.

    I chopped before I had my plates too. The plates fit but I had to fab an additional section to cover the gap from chopping too much. If you haven't done it already, I would hold off until you get your plates before you start chopping. If you happen to chop too much and cannot fab a close-out, I vaguely remember seeing someone that made or bought a replacement front body mount.

    You would have to chop a lot to need a completely new body mount:rofl:
    Seems like making a bigger plate would be easier.
