So i'm dealing with an o2 this weekend, and delved into the FSM for my 2013 2trfe to check the pinouts and values for testing.

I also poked at the "branches" (for example, the diag procedure branches out to a separate page for the o2 pinouts).

I branched out to the section about testing after installation, and it's about doing an idle relearn.

What caught my attention was a blurb (at least in the 2013 FSM) that disconnecting the battery or removing the fuse does NOT force an idle relearn.

According to the FSM, you have to use Techstream (or, presumably, other high level scan tool - I have an Autel, but haven't checked to see if it includes the function yet) to initiate the idle relearn and go through a series of brief driving (above 6mph) and stops after the engine reaches temp at idle with no accessories on.

I just wanted to put this out there, and I don't know what other years this would/might affect. Obviously the idles will relearn over time regardless of whether one initiates it manually.
