Best winter tires

I wore them out and replaced them with something else. They were great for traction, but I found the sidewalls to be pretty weaksauce. I got more sidewall slices running these than any other tire I've had. That was a big no-no for me being in the middle of nowhere a lot, but if you're staying on the highway I'd still recommend them.

 

what did you replace them with?

 

General Grabber ATx. They seem good in the snow and hardpack but are not as good as the studded Hercules on ice.
