It looks to me like when your body lift was installed maybe the radiator drop brackets were the wrong size. Check those brackets. Make sure they drop the radiator bolts just 1" if your body lift is 1". Some companies make just one bracket with multiple holes to use for 1, 2, or 3 inchs. Maybe they dropped the radiator down to the hole used for 2" lifts. Or maybe the bolts in the brackets loosened up and fell out.

    :ohsnap:

Is red antifreeze a different type of chemical base than the green, in that it dries a pinkish/white like that instead of just being a almost clear and wet/oily like the green type?

Did you check for any cracks in the tank or tank cap, or the overflow hose?

Since the fluid made it's way there, the reservoir, my guess is the radiator cap is good. I think you can test them diy.

Sure doesn't sound at all normal. To me. But what do I know? :notsure:

Hold up.... you have an issue with your truck and don't tag the person that has had every issue in the book? I'm insulted!

I'm curious if Brian's kit came with radiator drop brackets. I don't remember seeing any in my kit.

Yeah here's a pic of the radiator drop brackets and looks like they are using the opening for the 2" body lift. I'll move those up to the 1" opening.

Put a new OEM Toyota radiator cap on today and repositioned the radiator on the correct opening on the body lift support brackets. Plenty of fan clearance now. Took an hour long test drive and everything seems good for now. Thanks so much for all of your input fellas!

Mornin' B! Mornin' All you Addicts!

And all you did was adjust the shroud and replace the radiator cap?

New radiator cap which was easy. Then there are 4 radiator drop brackets (1 in each corner of the radiator) for the 1" body lift. They were installed on the 2" opening so the radiator was sitting 1" lower than it should have been so I reinstalled those on the correct setting.

Here's a pic showing 1 of the brackets before I fixed it. That opening you see is where the radiator should have been sitting.

Good video of it Brian! But, yes, that upper shroud is more than cosmetic. It actually helps redirect cooling air thru the radiator instead of going over the radiator.
