I'll come down off my pedistole. It's a good idea and my house is always open to non serial killer tacoma enthusiast. Actually scratch that the serial killer thing maybe fun.

Find a cheap electric to learn and practice chords—it’s easier to vs acoustic because it requires less finger strength. Don’t necessarily need an amp...unless you hate your neighbors.

also, Justinguitar is a great resource.

If I get a heater in the camper, I'll have my own roving bar this winter. I may need to bump back down to stock 29" tires so I can fit chains up front though… I don't want to end up like @johntoyota and his Subaru friend two years ago… Speaking of John, he should be back in the next day. It's been quiet in here!

No heater.. just a 0 degree down bag and a good boy pupper but he has his own sleeping bag lol I tend to keep it simple and have had no issues camping in cold weather (-7 being the lowest) but i also dont take the gf out camping in the cold so i can rough it for the first chair rights in the morning at the resorts.

My 20 degree bag does fine at night, but the GF doesn't like getting into bed onto a cold mattress… that and the condensation.

Do you have any condensation accumulation or not since there is about 10x more tent surface area?

Updated my response in regards to the gf... but not really any condensation in the tent. However, i usually convert my 50% storage platform in my bed to a 100% sleeping platform for winter low-key camping. It helps not having to fold the tent up in the AM because there is so much of it. When i do this, i use reflectix on the tailgate door because it us uncarpeted. I get frost on the reflectix on the wooden floor i built for the habitat. I am 6'2" so i learned real quick that climbing into the habitat through the bed is a bitch. Thus, i build a floor and climb in on the side using my rear bumper so no ladder needed.

FYI - I stopped by the recently rebranded car wash in Boulder (Gloss) to ask
    1) If I would fit through the bay with the Vagabond Drifter on (yes, with space)
    2) What the deal would be with getting the truck ceramic coated (they have enough manpower to lift off the Drifter to detail it).

After talking with them a while, the manager gave me a free wash to try it out since he wasn't sure if their cleaning chemicals would react with the bare aluminum.

Spoiler: The chemicals they use do react with bare aluminum. It left streaks, but I don't care because the next time I drive through some winter roads, the corrosion will randomly happen and diffuse it.

Also, the tire shine they put on immediately got slung on my truck... because Supercharger.

6'2" and can sleep down in the truck bed? Or when you say "50% storage platform in my bed" do you mean the overhang over the truck cab that isn't the actual bed in the Habitat?

A BedRug would solve your tailgate problem…
