Hello everyone, I have recently purchased a Toyota Tacoma 2016 limited with 55,000 kilometres. I have been using it as a daily for around a month and just recently took it out on the highway.
I experienced vibrations inside the cabin and even a noise coming from the passenger seat as it was all shaking. The vibrations happened after 110+ km/hour.
I still have another 4000 kilometres to go before my next service is due and was wondering whether this is a common issue and would be a reasonably easy fix as well as what causes this?

Probably just tires out of balance. Any tire shop can correct it

    Did you solve the problem?
I also have a stock taco with cabin vibrations. Wondering if you were able to find out the source of the problem

Sounds like tires as previously mention. A "GOOD" tire place should be able to fix easily. Re road force balance, rotate tires And check to see no belts slipping and tire is not out of round (I had at least 3 out of round tires in my past ... 2 were brand new!).

Gotta be a tire issue. Shouldn't be any vibrations with that mileage. I experience a slight shake when new as i was pushing on the brake pedal to a stop, but once my truck broke in with a couple thousand miles it all went away, and everything got smoother. My cabin was always quiet, it currently has zero vibrations of any type.

My 2020 vibrates on the front passenger side of the cabin as well. I narrowed it down to the front passenger seatbelt anchor cover located on the bottom. The cover rattles when going over bumps.

I had the same issue. It is the glove box that vibrates. It doesn’t seal tight enough when closed and it vibrates constantly. I used some black rubber weather stripping from hardware store to go around the glove box. The glove box seals MUCH tighter when closed and it will stop the “passenger seat vibration” you are taking about.

glove box doesnt seal tight enough on new tacomas. Have same problem. I used black rubber weather strip. Harder to close but will make a tight seal and will stop vibes
