Yeah I'm starting to freak out about gyms again. I called around asking if some used equipment places had barbells. I kinda just got laughed at which I expected.

Have only lifted about 4 days the past two weeks, probably the worst shape I’ve been in in a few years. However, during deer season, specifically the rut, gotta make some sacrifices. After a week in the stand, connected on this guy.

    Nice!

Can you get one for me? Just filled my freezer with 12 chickens, half a pig, and a quarter steer, but still have some room for venison.

    Are you enjoying the Hoyt?
When I actually get off my butt and get back to hunting I need a new bow. I've always wanted a Hoyt.

done for archery but gun season opens up after thanksgiving which usually produces results. My freezers gunna be full with a 1/4 cow and two big bucks so I may have to offload some haha.

I love my hoyt charger. Bought it in 2013 so it’s getting older and I keep throwing around the idea of upgrading to a higher end hoyt. It’s only 62lbs and is sorta loud so I’d like to get a heavier poundage since I can easily pull it back. All my buddies shoot Matthew’s and they are nice as well, but I’m partial to hoyts so will probably stick with what’s working.

Remember that a bow performs better at its max weight. So unless you can pull 70-75lbs it may be better to stay with the lighter draw. I could pull 70lbs in a heated indoor range, always harder in a tree below zero LOL.

I always regretted selling my Parker and getting a Diamond. I got the Black Ice that draws between 50-70lbs and it just doesn't shoot as well as my parker did maxed out at 55lbs (it was a youth bow).

I've shot several Mathews and wasn't a fan. But you gotta find a bow that pairs well with you and how you shoot.

    Rest day for me today.
Yesterday was an upper body day and was feeling a little tired by the end (more tired than the normal). I'd say I'm 90% recovered from the ultra. Hopefully next week I'm back to 100%.

Rest day for me too... Did two days on this week super super light. Rhomboid is still feeling no better... I'm gonna give it another week then just start full on comp prep again. I'll deal with healing afterwards.

Yeah I'm thinking that too. It doesn't hurt at all while lifting. It only hurts after when I'm cooled down and sitting straight or standing up.

If it hurts when you stop lifting, then stop lifting.

If you get an MRI, get an open MRI not the closed tubes. ;)

Are you working out while taking muscle relaxers? If so, do you notice it really change your performance?
I'm on Baclofen which is pretty mild. It doesn't make you loopy like Cyclos. I'm wondering if I can start taking it prior to workouts.
