What do you think of the Naked Grouse? I've been mulling over picking up a bottle .

Had to travel to an ABC state for these. Picked em up in Salt Lake. It's crazy to me how these sit on shelves in some places but back home they rarely come through.

Personally, it’s very good. If you like sherry scotch, you’ll love it. If you pick up a bottle let me know what you think.

I’ve been looking for a bottle that’s been priced right lately, no luck though. Everywhere I’ve seen it it’s 99 plus and hard to find

Definitely got some not so nice messages with people telling me I’m a piece of shit for hogging all that whiskey. For all they know, I bought all of them at secondary, or I bought one at retail (which actually happened). Kind of crazy. I’ll leave it up for interpretation. The douche bag on aisle 4 comment made me chuckle

whatcha got? I’m a big fan of most Buffalo trace distillery products, and Michters. But I don’t discriminate
Up for a trade assuming I pick the two up locally that I think I have a line on

Yeah, there are some on that site that use bots to continually scan liquor store websites (particularly k&l) for specific bottles and auto purchase them. Allocated stuff gone within seconds of being posted. It really pisses people off and causes spillover rage, even to non-bot stuff, as you've seen.

Did you go to the one by REI? I picked up a couple there.

What brought you to the great state of Utah?

Definitely some bot users and people with generally great connections in that group. I’ve done some grinding in the Bay Area to get some connections and it sucks that I’m leaving in the upcoming weeks but hopefully I can do the same in Sac, with less competition. We’ll see though

I hit the one closest to the airport as soon as we got in our rental car

Flew to/from SLC to visit some friends up in Pocatello. Wish we had more time to check out UT, been nearly a decade since I was there last and I loved it.

If I'm moving in the near future I'll need some help emptying some bottles. This bitch isn't much help.

Our anniversary was this week and the wife picked up a Woodford Reserve Double Oak and I found a Baker’s 107.

    Delicious pours, both of them.

One is my admins (Someone Say Whiskey) is a close friends and and a female, they did an all female barrel pick and chose this sticker design. We all thought it was great. She’s an inspiration to many young women. Our club definitely supported all the women in their decision. We don’t all agree with politics but this was more than politics.
