    Greetings
Have the 2017 Taco SR5 extended can and looking for a tune that has the correct deletes. Ultimately I’m looking for better gas mileage.

I find easy listening tunes are better for mileage than metal, but that’s just me.

People have had good luck with the OV Tune in regard to squeezing out better performance, but long story short the best you are going to do is keeping your speed down and having a light gas pedal foot.

There is no silver bullet for incredible mileage in these Tacomas.

If you face all your speakers towards the rear of the truck you actually get slightly better mileage.

As many others will tell you, Toyota has tuned these vehicles for best reliability, emissions and reputation they possibly can for masproduction. your results will be directly affected by your driving style and attitude. It is what it is, a good reliable truck requiring only basic maintenance.
    Good luck

Best tune out there for mileage that I am aware of is the stock tune and a light pedal foot. If you want performance thats a different story.

Stock tune will be the most efficient. Slap on some stock sized SUV touring tires like the Michelin Premiers or Firestone Destinations if you want to squeeze out an extra mpg gain. Maybe even undersize them slightly.

Learn how to drive efficiently and properly maintain the truck. There is no product you can purchase that will save you enough gas to pay for the product.

I'm totally stock with consistant 19-21 MPG. Always in ECT and S mode except on the 4 lane with 70+ and cruise on.

What exactly are you looking for??

Where abouts are you located? There are some folks with vF Tuner who might be able to tune your truck. There will be some cost associated with it, but it will be cheaper than getting the full vF Tuner set up yourself.

You bought a Toyota, not a VW. There is no such tune that will drastically improve MPGs.

Physics does not allow it. You are the controller of mpg. How you drive and where and when decides mpg.

Agreed. Toyota chose to focus on gearing rather than design changes for MPG in order to keep the aggressive look. It's also why people think the 3.5L is weaker than the 4.0L despite it having 42 more HP. Driving and terrain are the keys, along with tire pressures.
