    Can someone explain the correct way to measure rear shocks?

    You would measure from the center of the lower eye holes on the axle to the bottom of the mating surface on the frame.
    On the shock would be from the eyelet to the top of the rubber bushing that sits below (not on top) of the frame side mount.

    Thanks, and that will give the proper amount of up and down travel with articulation for my new leaf springs
