I beleive he did say they offered a softer ride. I can sift threw my PM's and see if I can find his that mentioned the rear shocks.

He said... "The 5100's on the rear offer the best ride I have found. :)"

    Yep! :)
Mine rides really smooth with no load in it, and it seems to ride just as smooth loaded up.

Did you start with OME's in the rear and then switch to billys?

A friend of mine was running the OME rears. They rode good until they were pulled apart when off roading. Seems the welds or something was weak in the lower portion of the rear OME shocks. When I looked into this, I have found many people that have been running the OME rear shocks with similar problems, oil weeping from the shock body, shocks falling apart on the trail, etc. OME informed me that this has been corrected, and they warrantied the shocks in many cases, but I chose to try the 5100's out. The 5100's give a much better ride than my buddies OME shocks, and I have had my rear tires off the ground enough to test weather or not they will fail off road, and they are still in great shape. :)
