Well I got a noisy clutch pedal when pushed in especially coming off 1st gear creak noise . Only 5k miles =( .wondering if anyone knows the TSB for this issue or a quick fix of some kind ..ie lube adjustment . The pedal does have a little play . I have appointment with dealer but would like to have the tsb for it incase they try to pull a fast one on me .

If they don't want to do anything with it then just lube it yourself with Disc Brake Grease

Back at the dealer for the second time for the clutch pedal creek literally 1 week later . Pulled the tsb they told me it doesn’t apply to the 20 ... swear this Toyota dealer have a bunch of morons . If I came in already for the same issue and it’s doing the same shit . Logic says replace the mofo . Lol

I had this problem with my Tacoma and didn’t get it fixed till 10k but I think I have my paper that went over what they did. Do you need what they did to fix it for reference next time you bring it to them ?

Do be surprised if it comes back... You're truck is a 2020, so it likely had all of the updated parts installed from the factory.
I had a 2018 with the creak. Dealer's master mechanic said they deal with them all of the time (all Tacoma years).
I bought a tube of Permatex 80345 White Lithium Grease and greased up the spring pivot points and the top of the rod pivot (hard to get to).
The creak was gone for 10k miles until I sold it.
Give it a try when the creak comes back in 5k...

I just went thru this. 6K miles on my 2020. Noise started around 5K, but I never dealt with it. I finally put brake grease (maybe 1/2 tsp total) on the spring coil and bushings a little over a week ago...no noise at all now. Kinda pissed I didn't do it sooner. Too easy.

The FJ cruiser uses a steel pedal I have a (modified) FJ pedal and master cylinder and my clutch is nice and quiet. It uses a clevis and pin rather than the ball and socket.

I've had three different Tacoma's with MT and the squeak is normal.
Dab some grease on it yourself and save yourself a trip to the dealer.
    Never really bothered me.
