Brute Force Fab Hybrid Front Bumper, Smittybilt XRC 9.5k, Pelfrybelt Swing Arm Bumper (With North Shore style bike rack installed), Icon King 2.5" lift, Pioneer AVH44000- NEX, BF Goodrich 285/85/R16, K&N Cold air intake Camper: ARE DCU 30"-36" shell (interior build coming soon.
I am looking for new winter tires. I currently had BF Goodrich All Terrain Ko2285/75 R16 E. I am looking to move down to a C or D load tire, I am looking to have a lighter tire because the E load tires are too heavy. I am looking to upgrade to 17" wheels, as this will increase the number of tires I can choose.
    I have a 2.5 lift as well.

    Winter:
I would like to have some cheap steel wheels with skinny yet tall snow tires. I'll be in Jackson Wyoming and Colorado. I would like suggestions for tires, wheels, and tire size. I am fine with cheap wheel, but would like some valuable tires, either studded/nonstudded.

    Other seasons:
I have had great luck with the All Terrain KO2's, but wondering if people have compared using these tires to true winter tires. Or have felt that winter tires are not worth it.

Any comments or offers are appreciated.

I’m not a KO2 man myself, but they come in 285/70/17 C-load. Might be your one-and-done:

As for the skinny winters, you’ll have a hard time finding them if you want to match that 33” diameter. There aren’t any 33” skinny winters out there that I’ve run into. There are 235s out there though. Personally I think a winter tire is the way to go in snow and ice country, but only you can make that decision for yourself.
