The vibes aren’t that bad honestly just annoying. I only feel it when decelerating at 25mph and highway speed of 65mph. I already tried the cb drop and it did nothing. A 1” block shouldn’t throw it out that bad which leaves me to believe the angles were already screwed before the lift. The truck only has 5k miles on it so it’s frustrating for sure

I agree it is frustrating my truck is at 6k with this issue, acts like it’s 20 years old lol.

Here is a link to a guy that went above and beyond to solve driveline vibrations and he did evetually after a lot of trial and error: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/drive-shaft-vibrations-solved-step-by-step.244535/

If I installed an extended bolt initially to put the shims in, and now I want to take the shims out, would I need to go back to the stock length bolt, or the new longer one will still work without the shim?

That might depend on the length of the bolt afterwards, the bumpstops you are using and whether of not it will interfere with the bumpstops. You can always put the extended one back in and trim it down if it is too long.

Cut to desired length. Leave a 1/4 inch of exposed thread above the nut.
