Did you disconnect the dots on the bottom? If so did you just have to cut the wires going to them? Tried unplugging the ballasts to see which one controlled the dots and struck out so just left it alone for time being. I would prefer it without the dots on the bottom.

No they still work. I guess you just can't see them cause of the angle of the picture and them being recessed?

Why is there a bar of light on the top in one pic, and only dots in the bottom of the other pic? Are they the same headlights?

They are close to the same model. His was older, and they discontinued them for some reason, and mine were the newer ones that just just came out lol.

i was considering a set of the third gen style projector lights myself, but then i was directed to some of the cut off shots of these lights and they look hideous! ask some of the more experienced guys like veit or some of the others who have retrofitted its waaay better and only about a hundred dollars more imo i think its the better choice. i retrofitted mine and i'm going to finish it up this weekend i took my time and followed veits write up and it turned out awesome! for me this was the better choice in terms of safety and performance and i'm glad i did the leg work to accomplish it. just a thought

I've got the Eagle Eyes Version, poor light output, Blow fuses in humid/stormy conditions, moisture gets inside, AND if you live where it's sunny (like TEXAS) there is a thin film on the lens which is going to fade, crack and peel....

    Stocks were much better.

    hope you have better results.

Well.. They get foggy in the cold rain but that's not a biggie for me. The light output is MUCH better than stock, and nothing is peeling (knock on wood) lol.
