My 2006 Tacoma bed is Not straight or misaligned I need to get to this problem it really bothers me I have 4 things it could be my chassis/suspension/leaf springs or bed bushings I would like some feedback so I don’t waste my money and time going back and forth. Any feedback is appreciated

That's an inverse taco lean... Wild...

Have you check to see if the right side has a broken leaf in the leaf pack?

Is there an excessive spacer/block on the left side to account for the typical "Taco lean"?

    When did this start?

Are you the original owner or did you just get this truck and only now noticed?

The bed doesn't have bushings, the tub sits directly on the frame so that's out.

Usually they left lean due to the battery driver and fuel tank all along the left side.

It looks like the front cab is left lean and the bed is right lean, is this truck an accident salvage/rebuilt title? I think your frame is fubar if it isn't a broken leaf pack shackle or the like.

Give us some background history of your truck. Are you the second owner? What's been done to the truck. Accident? Were you drunk one night and picked up some fat chicks?

Well it’s a salvage title truck and has been in a front end accident had more impact on the driver side I was thinking it was the shock but I’m not sure if that would cause the sag, I still have an active recall for the leaf springs the current ones are not snapped only flattened sort of

The leaf springs or shocks or the fact that it’s been in an accident? Haha I would like some closure because I do want to repair the problem

The shock would have no impact on the lean, if the leaf isn't broken and the shackle is still connected and not hung up on either side then yeah, your frame is tweaked badly, you would need a new frame and given the salvage title status Toyota WILL NOT accept your frame replacement claim even if it's rusted out.

Your best bet is to find a straight frame in a junkyard I suspect.

I think before hunting for new frames it might be worth taking it to a professional to have it(the frame) measured. I don't think anyone here is going to be able to look at a pic from behind and do more than guess at the problem. With a front end damage and salvaged title it is entirely possible you have a bent frame. How much and what the best way to remedy that is probably best discussed with a body shop you trust. You might go to your regional board (under the menu Forums -> regional discussion) and ask for a recommendation if you don't already have a pro in mind.

The first thing I'd do is make sure the leaf springs on both sides look identical (shackle fit, flattening, everything...). Once you rule out suspension issues then it's time to look at the frame. Since it costs nothing to look, I'd spend a decent amount of time crawling around looking. On the bright side, it looks dry where you are.

    Good luck
