Hello all. My '03 Tacoma 4x4 needs new tires. I'm running FJ Cruiser 17" wheels.

If you're interested there are pictures of my truck in this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/wheel-trim-refurbish-job-pictures.603564/page-2#post-23659990

I can get another set of Terra Grappler G2 265/70 R17 for $715 out the door. Or a set of General Tire A/TX for $590 after their current rebate of $100. Are the General tires as good as the TG's or should I spend the extra money on the Terra Grapplers? I now have 40,000 miles on the TG's and could drive them for a few thousand miles further.

Are there other tires I should consider? My driving is mostly asphalt with some gravel road and occasional mud and/or grassy field usage.

BF Goodrich KO2 are about to go on my Tacoma before winter. I bought the truck used with Terra Grapplers on it. 35,000 and they are done. Not enough mile miles for my wallet.

I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 03 and love them. Rotate every 5000 and you are good to go.

I ended up with a set of General Tire A/TX for $590. I like them enough and don't regret the decision, but time will tell.
