TRD PRO skid on my SR looks great

Finally got me a pro skid. Went onto my SR 2.7 easily and oil drain plug still accessible through the little hole. Super stoked ls

Nice. They also hold up pretty well to getting abused by rocks.

 

I am saving up for one too. I just wish you could still get the ones without the red letters.

I find this misleading ... trd skid plate on a non trd Tacoma .

 

I’d find it more misleading when a giant rock rapes my radiator, front diff, and oil pan

 

Because your TRD OR is a real TRD? I get it when people put TRD Pro stickers on their non pro tacos but a functional piece that just so happens to have those three letters on it isn’t the same thing. It’s his truck anyway and he doesn’t need your approval.

 

Does your hand fit through that access panel? My wife had a pathfinder that had one and it would cut my hands up when I did oil changes.

 

I’ll have to check. I’ll never use it cause mine is the 4 cylinder with normal style oil filter in front of the bell housing on the block. I’ll check and let u know tho

It’s still a TRD skid plate right, made by Toyota (TRD)? I had Steeda parts on my Mustang that said Steeda on them, so by your logic I shouldn’t have been be able to have those parts on the car since it wasn’t a Steeda? Same goes for TRD wheels? He’s not trying to sell this as a TRD so what does it matter?

 

i have a limited 4x4 and just sent it out for lift and wheels today. and that trd skid will be my next mod... my limited cant be TRD!!!

 

These skids are awesome bought modified(slightly) and installed mine about 3 months ago.

 

In this day and age, can't your truck identify as anything it likes? And we have to respect that, right?

Seriously though, nice truck, nice choice in skid and fantastic response to the haters.
