Last week I had my original shocks and coil springs removed along with the puck lift in the front and replaced them with Bilstein 5100's and OME 885s. It looks like it dropped the front by an inch which is just fine with me. The problem now, if it is a problem, is the rear is now two inches higher than the front. I have a block lift in the rear now, I'm not sure the exact measurement but I think its a 2" or a 3" block. I used to have a add-a-leaf but the Toyota dealership tossed it out when they did a recall on the rear leaf's. They said I had to use a block with the new leaf spring pack, for some reason that doesn't seem right but whatever.

With the Bilstein 5100 and OME 885's in front what amount of lift should I be looking for in the rear? Is it bad to have the rear higher than the front? What's my best course of action here? I'm not opposed to buying a smaller block like a 1" or a 1.5" add-a-leaf.

Start by removing the rear lift blocks and see if additional lift is needed. If so, go with a progressive 1.5" aal and NEVER blocks to minimize axle wrap or increase wear on your current leafs.

A 1.5" AAL sounds perfect for your application.

There is nothing "wrong" with having greater lift in the rear than the front. I like it a little higher in the back

And you are correct about the Toyota dealership. This is why I hate dealers.

    Like, so many.
The rear is higher from the factory on almost all trucks. It's called "rake." That said, you can lower it if you like to level the truck out. Most people accomplish this by raising the front, but your truck, your call. There are many AAL options, that will give you 1 to 1.5 inches in the rear. Lots of folks do that.

Thanks for the input. I think taking the blocks off will leave it lower in the back than I would like. I think an AAL is going to be my best option.

Look into a wheeler's progressive 1.5" lift 3-leaf aal pack vs. a single for better ride quality.

    Form follows function
Leaf pack is way more comfortable than add a leaf. Just my $0.02.

I'm not opposed to a leaf pack. They do cost 2-3 times as much though. Most I see also claim 2.75" of lift, an AAL only claim 1.5" of lift. I wonder if a leaf pack is to much lift still?
