Got into a small fender bender earlier. Taking it in ASAP, just wondering what you guys think.

100% no frame damage. Take care of it regardless, but its minor.

LoL. You cannot make that determination from a night time photo of the rear bumper. Need to get under there and inspect/measure the frame. Silly.

OP, likely no frame damage, but possible.

Tacoma frames don't connect in the rear directly, you'd have to obliterate a tacoma from the rear to damage its frame.

What are you talking about? The rear bumper brackets bolt straight to the frame. Also the trailer hitch bolts directly to the frame.

Obvious frame damage. Truck is totaled. I circled the problem area. These Tacomas are basically made of glass on the rear bumper and frame. I hope you have a good insurance policy.20201116_193219.jpg

Guys I don’t know much about how trucks/cars are built and this truck is brand new. I know it doesn’t look bad. Just wanted some early opinions as I’m anxious about it

Can't tell 100% without looking at the frame but I've seen a tacoma have wayyyyy more damage in the rear and still have no frame damage. This looks pretty minor tbh

If your trailer hitch isn't pointing toward the ground, chances are there's no frame damage. It'll be a pricey repair to replace the tailgate shell though.

Opposing car had a obnoxious big front steel bumper. No damage to his truck. Bumped me going less then 10 mph

A free rear bumper?! Get a check instead and go to town- a swingout will cover that tailgate dent just fine. Dang you’re lucky, right before Black Friday too!:transformer::taco::yay:

I've seen some tailgates for sale on FB Market Place. Wonder how much a shop will charge for a tailgate.... Update us!

Oh man! That truck is totaled for sure!

But seriously, that's nothing to be worried about.
