    I’m simply saying that you may misremember or may be exaggerating because all empirical evidence says the contrary. You’re telling us you have the fastest Tacoma on the planet and also one of the slowest. I could be wrong.

    You are welcome to call me a liar, I couldn’t care less, I have nothing to gain.

    I’m not the one sitting in a thread asking for help about a 40+ mph swing from a gear install. That in itself is quite an anomaly.

    ive been waiting and watching too. I’m leaning toward Yukon though since I had a good experience on my 2nd gen - and I have a feeling it’s gonna be hard to find a deal on Yukon’s.

    5.29's, ARB locker, 6112/5100, Deaver AAL, LCE Header, aFe dry-flo filter, Hurst/Core shifter, CBI T3 Front, Warn Winch, CB/UHF Radio equipment, Backrack, KC fogs and spots
    I ordered 5.29's + ARB rear for my 2.7 5 speed. Its happening. I'm currently only on Patagonia MT's (265/75/16's) which are closer to 32''... Anyone else running similar?

    Work in Progress/BuiltNotBought: BFG's KO2's, LED front lighting./ Lightbar, AFE CAI.
    I have re geared my 16 TRD 4x4 Sport Tacoma to 5.29s, with 285s. Great gearing upgrade; however I recently noticed on a trip to Austin, Tx, the Tacoma will not go into a higher gear (over drive) allowing me to go faster than 83mph ?!?!? Never happened before.
    .. Any clue as to why this is NOW happening ? First time it occurred was on this trip yesterday (11-26) ? Thanks ...

    Can you guys confirm with 5.29 and 265/70/17, truck wont go faster than 80mph? Will it go up-to 90 with 33s?

    I don’t think anyone needs to drive 90 mph, but considering recent liberal overload, having an option to leave California state at 100mph would be nice to have.

    Just drove on 5 the other day, and truck did not cut off anything at 103mph. I have 2.7L 2020 SR AC with KO2. I want my money back if toyota doesn’t allow 140 it has on speedometer lol
