Has anyone hooked up their Led Lightbars etc.. to their Warn Zeon Platinum winch? And what are your opinions on doing so?

Because the new WARN zeon platinum's have a feature where you can connect your accessories and control them via their wireless remote. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v05gDh_NUYI

I'd save your money not he winch and get something not as high end and out in a switch bank. Heck of a lot easier.

i think the main reason it isn't particularly popular to use the aux outputs from the platinum is the extra steps in order to use that aux item. the wireless remote isn't the easiest thing to navigate around while driving, so you'd realistically only turn on/off whatever you have wired up when stopped. I haven't thought of a good use for them yet...

I read this and imagined someone winching their lightbar up into a tree. Just in case you want the stadium experience while camping.

Agree that the remote isn't the easiest to navigate, but I have such terrible battery life on my remote that I just keep it plugged in and suction mounted to the dash whenever I go off road. I didn't get the platinum for that feature, and if I could do it over I probably wouldn't get the platinum again, but I do like that I didn't have to run anything through the firewall. Hopefully I'll only have to do that once when I break down and get an sPod.

yea i wish the remote had better battery life. I could've skipped the LCD screen and just had LED indicators to save battery....
my smittybilt X2O remote's battery lasts for years!
