How does an aftermarket exhaust sound like on a Tacoma? Does it sound like one of those rice burner Honda Civics? I've only owned 2 other Japanese cars ever and it was a 95 Toyota Supra and a 2015 Skyline and even with those I had to modify the piping to make them sound more "manly" haha.

I just got my Tacoma last night and it's already in my buddy's shop this morning to get an ARB air compressor put on, the C4 bumper, and the 17 inch Fuel Beast Wheels. Still gotta shop around for tires today and deciding if I want to go back to toyota and buy a Sport hood or just take this hood to the body shop and have custom hood scoop added. Figure I won't lift it until a full year or unless I absolutely need to.

There are some good exhaust options, and some sound pretty good. It is a v6 so none will sound amazing. My favorite sounding exhaust personally is the Carven cat back. It isn't overly expensive either! There are some videos on youtube with sound bites you can check out!

For the love of all that is good please don't put an aftermarket hood scoop on, so tacky / autozone special. Congrats on the new truck.
