Had a brand new Leer 180 Camper shell installed from the dealer and after the first rain today I have some leaking in the front right corner. I had Leer Cap on my 1st Gen for 9 years and it would "drip" in one of the corners. However even during days worth of down pouring heavy rain it wouldn't be more than a small little puddle that could be sopped up by a paper towel (not even enough to get my any of my gear wet).

All that to say I expect a little bit, however this seems like a significant amount of puddling after only a few hours of rain today. I worry that in an extended rain there is going to be alot of water back there. Did I just get lucky with my first shell? Or am I correct in thinking the dealer may need to address this?

Bring it back and have them pack some butyl putty in each corner.

Also, the bedrail caps need to be pulled and sealed. Water can easily splash up and through them.
