I'm looking into getting my father steering wheel audio controls for his 2005 tacoma for christmas. I just recently got a 2008 tacoma myself, and he was a bit jealous of my upgraded stereo controls . I read acozzens post about his installation on his 2006, which would be very do-able for my father with his considerable technical knowledge, but his 2005 tacoma has a plain steering wheel with no place for the buttons as seen here.

he also just has a standard cd/stereo system. If its possible, Im assuming it may be a matter of replacing the steering wheel, any suggestions or experience anyone?
