I may be interested in a set if you're willing to ship. I am working on sourcing fronts so it's dependent on that as well.

Lol. Never hid anything. In the original post says normal wear and tear. Shocks were on a used off road truck with typical wear marks on the body and minor scratches. Shafts are in good condition and no leaks ends seem tight. Not sure what I’m hiding but because someone did ask for some pictures and I took some, here’s some from 2 or 3 weeks ago ;)

a magic eraser would take most the marks off. Sorry to leave you butt but I do appreciate the laugh.

And considering one shock new costs more than 200, they are worth quite a bit more than that just for parts. A set of trashed shocks would still probably go for 400 bucks as rebuild kits are cheap.

Educate me... I literally know nothing about these is why I’m asking...

Why do the newer style shocks in perfect shape cost less than the older shocks in less than perfect shape?

"new style" meaning by the reservoir stickers/color. The older fox shocks had a different style stickers/color.

The older style are the dsc clicker flavor ($$) and the newer ones are just standard I think. Hard to tell from pics.

Correct the older style have the dsc clickers to adjust the firmness of the shocks. Newer style (black) are just a smooth body with resi.
