Am I an idiot?

  1. You are an idiot, but since you don't mess with hookers & blow... might as well?!?!

  2. You're a great dad and I want to be your friend!!

Alrighty! The bedside vinyl came in and I freakin' dig it. It's matte black so it's not too noticable at first, but in the right light at the correct angle looks sick. What do ya'all think of what our Hawaiian friend @CBoy808 created?

For loading up dirtbikes, I picked up a set of these bed rail tie-downs from ATHFab. Solid and even prettier with bed liner spray.

    working on it!
Because I know you are going for full blackout, I can tell you I removed the "AVS" on my rain guards with a paper towel and denatured alcohol.

1200 miles on Vader now and have added a few goodies since my last post.

Bed Mat, Prinsu Designs Roof Rack, Cali Raised light bar, Voswitch 8-gang bang universal truck switch. Also plasti-dipped the chrome stinkin' badgez.20200919_165248.jpg 20200919_165409.jpg 20200919_165419.jpg 20200926_180935.jpg 20200926_180949.jpg 20200926_173626.jpg 20200926_173640.jpg

Hey Folks - It's been a minute since I last posted mods/upgrades since adding the Voswitch. But.. now that we're at 2000 miles, here goes a lot!

Blacked out, sequential turn signals. Super easy install and looks way better.
    XbHrFMbEInHgEdtSGysS7DB7N87u9nJOm9ApEnph_9358de506e8b915887063aa98ecbf402eb653cfb.jpg

Replaced the tail gate plastic with Mountain Hatch - all black of course. Not cheap for a plastic cutting board, but you can't put a price tag on an additional American Flag.

Rock lights are cool... but bluetooth app controled Govee RGB rock lights are more fun! And, at night, with this lighting, you can see the "Dark Side Edition" bed decal even though it's black on black.

Adding a Ram mount is great and all... but getting a new Pioneer 9" 7600 NEX head unit is better! What you don't see here, is that I also got a new Amp, new door speakers, (all Arc Audio) as well as all 4 doors dynomat sound-deadening. Not cheap but the Andriod auto w/ Google & Alexa, Spotify and Waze integration, is prrrreeeettttttyyyy slick. I also got a front cam installed and the head unit supports both views, anytime. Oh yeah! Got the Meastro unit as well, so the head unit can display everything from tire pressure, oil temp, etc. Lots of cool extra goodies to play with. I'll be going back soon for the Sub. I was quickly running out of funds for this install.

Alsmost all caught up. The remaining mods were just this week. First up was to prep for a stronger bed via bed stiffeners from Total Chaos Fabrication. I chose these because they go farther up than most and are super beefy.

Next up: CBI overland bars. For the money and for the build quality, these are perfect for what I'm looking for. Easy install/removal for when I throw the kid's dirtbike in the back and it's plenty strong enough for the additional something or other coming soon!!

All caught up! Installed these OEDRO side steps/nerf bars just today after work. Thank goodness for motrin + tylenol + beer combo because I'm a bit sore from installing by myself. Ugh. Kind of a hybrid style bar to help against other car door dings and rocks underneath, but for the $300 pricetag and how I'm not looking to jump onto boulders anytime soon, should just be perfect for my needs. I know they aren't full-on rock sliders, but they are super beefy and I like the textured powder coating & looks. I also like the $700 cost savings.
