    2” lift
Is it necessary to change shocks when lifting a 2012 tacoma TRD sport. 3” front, 2” rear? Any recommendations for fair priced lifts?

Yes i believe you could damage the shocks by “topping them out”

old man emu makes a quality lift on the cheaper side

Bilstein 5100 are a good shock if you’re mostly on the road.

Check out headstrong offroad website to shop around.

Id say go full Old man emu

    Yes, you should.
Other wise you aren’t going to have much, if any, down travel.

Do lots of research before buying anything. There is a lot more to lifting these trucks than just installing a new set of coilovers or spacers. Good luck with your truck and welcome to TW.

Eibach Pro Stage 1 on 2nd clip, 3 leaf Icon AAL's in back.
Lots of options out there but stay away from spacer lifts.
I went with the Eibach Pro Stage 1 setup with Icon 3 leaf aal's in the back.
The ride is better than stock and it sits great.
Also around $800 for everything including assembled front struts.

I agree the eibach route is a good way to go. I love how my rides both on and off road. I got the shocks and springs for less than 500 on sale. Then just did an add a leaf on the rear.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say call Marie... I’d be rich
    Call Marie

*Headstrong sells a spacer to correct driver side lean, buy it and take care of that while you’re getting the truck lifted*
