Maybe OP is secretly Chuck Norris, out there roundhouse-kicking his way into the driver’s seat everyday. :notsure:

How old are you OP? Injuries? I did this after my ACL/MCL surgery. A LOT!! Really is how you get in. Once I could bend my leg more it lessened. Still do it every so often.

And I’m 5’7” for the rest of you lol

    It's a secret
Don't sweat it OP...Everyone who claims to never have hit themselves getting in or out of whatever vehicle they drive or have driven is because they are already (secretly) padded up with layers of clothing or thick fat or even like this guy...

    ...

Samesies. The stinger that I run for my camper is on a 2" rise and it will grab you just barely below your kneecap. Not sure if that's worse or better than the standard mid-shin slammer.

OP I'm going to give you a tip, . both of your legs have little joints that allow them to move in several directions. Just move them out of the way

It is a problem. I bash the lower dash every day with my legs. Just too tall for the truck.

i am 6' even, i like having the seat a bit closer to the dash, i hit my shin on the dash once in a while. a few weeks ago i hit it hard enough, to break the skin through my jeans. i looked a few times
to see why, and the only thing i can figure is not paying attention, and not wanting to scrub my concealed carry weapon on the leather seat. so, i sneak the hip forward, and hit the dash with my shin. first world problems. :D Ski

Man, thats the only one where I gave up before even attempting. I wanted one of those badly enough that I went to the dealership just to look at their showroom model. When I walked up to it and saw the size of that door and the fact that the ragtop was below my belt buckle, I knew I had no chance. :(

Perhaps a short step ladder or stool would help load you into the driver's seat.

Banging into a hitch ball will allow you to generate all kinds of new sounds and words.
If the trailer is off, then the hitch is out of the receiver.

I whacked my shin once on the dashboard getting in not long after I purchased the truck a few months ago.

Once is the key word here.
