As far as I'm aware, the stock wheel specs for my truck are 16x7, 6x5.5 bolt pattern, +30mm offset. I'm looking to put 265/75/R16 Toyo Open Country At III's. Does anyone have this setup on a stock lift truck? What are some good brands for wheels? I like Method from my research, but they all have a 0 offset or negative in the size and bolt pattern I need, which would make the tires stick out pretty far compared to stock if I'm not mistaken.

Optimal wheel width per Toyo for that size is 7.5". I am not aware of what wheels are even available in that width. You could just put them on your stock wheels. I think the reason you see aftermarket wheels with width 8.0" and 0 offset is to give wider tires more clearance with the UCA. I have been running FN wheels (8" with 0 offset) with 265/75-16 Cooper AT3's for the last 5 years with Bilstein 5100's set on third notch with stock springs and I still use stock mud flaps.

Thanks for the info, I managed to find some methods in 16x7 with the 6x5.5 bolt pattern and an offset of 0, would putting that size Toyo on a 7 inch wide rim be detrimental? And if so, is that true for most AT tires in that size?

Are the wheels used? Just make sure the wheels are hub centric and will actually fit Tacomas. I would not see a problem with that tire-wheel combo but do not have any first hand knowledge.

Have you read thru the Toyo AT3 thread? Can be found in the wheel and tire forum.

No, you can buy brand new methods in the size I mentioned and they are hub centric. Thanks for the info.

Trail Series 701 and tire rack says the MR 301s (street series) fit but I’m not sure on that.

Something does seem to correct. Method does not show any wheels in 16x7 with 6x5.5. Neither does TireRack and 4wheelparts shows the 301 as a 16x7 but in the details it says 0 offset with 4" back spacing and to me that does not add up. Stick with your stock wheels, a different Toyota wheel or go to 16x8. Good luck and make sure to share what you end up with.

Thanks for the help, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do yet. I just bought the truck from a dealer as a used car and it came with brand new Goodyears in the rear and falkens in the front, they are on the more street side of the AT market but I'm not replacing them till they wear out.

Oh yeah you'll probably rub, maybe i read this thread wrong. I'm just saying that the 16x7 rim wont be an issue fitting 265/75/16.
285/75/16 doesnt rub on the TRD Pro due to the rims and height difference.
