Someone mentioned to make a build thread.... is this the new age CIA tracking method?

Can you show some pictures of this post install? I am considering this same paint job and want to see if you can see the plate from the front and sides. Does this skid extend further back than the stock one - it looks like it does to me. This is my SR5 stock plate.

The subframe dimple will be fully covered and protected:

 

The drivers side window regulator bolt vibrated itself loose and caused the window to fully drop into the door frame....

Check your regulator bolts and apply locktite if you have your door panels off!

Dealership mentioned that they had seen this before on 3rd generation trucks and now locktite bolts if they have to be inside the door for any reason. The repair was covered under warranty.

Hi-Lift TTBM-100 jack mount to the toolbox and must say: While super overpriced the design and finish is worth it at 68$.

 

had grabbed these LED tag lights some months ago for sale for cheap for around 12 bucks shipped and never got around to putting them in:


install took 10mins and was super easy with the biggest flathead screwdriver to squeeze the clips to pop em out.



Definitely bright in full sun on the drivers side compared to the old stock version.



might be too bright for evening backup jobs in reverse

 

Never mentioned mentioned the CB radio with the firestick antenna:

painted in some blue color that was as close to blazing blue as possible

ran along frame rail and the grommet coming through on the drivers seat:


resealed with RTV:


Coax cable routed along gaps in tailgate and taped to get it to hold shape for the 1st week:

currently had been hiding under the seat and will need to get relocated once modified to go from 4/8W to 20W

 

Replaced the fabric aux light covers with some outside pool chaise stuff which is weather and UV resistant and allows for usage without removal:





Also had the wifey set up a L shaped firestick antenna cover/lanyard holder for heading in parking garages to reduce the height and the banging of the antenna on the roof:





This allows either tie downs or a webbing strap with carabiners to be tied to antenna and hooks in bed to reduce antenna height.

No more constant downshift issues when using cruise control on the interstate and neat throttle response.
