I have 5100s with 884 coils and 1.5 inch AALs in the rear. Do you think it's necessary to adjust the headlights to account for the 1.5 -2' lift? I don't get flashed but I also don't want to be the asshole blinding everyone either.

If you have a wall or garage door that you can pull up to on level ground pull up with lights on about 5’ away, see if the beams seem to point up/straight on. I think just a hair down for low beams is about right.

That's kind of what I was thinking too. Just a slight adjustment for both, but I wanted to run it by yall too.

Others might have better ideas but that’s what worked for me.

Well I bit the bullet and coughed up the money for a set of brand new OEM headlights after I broke off a piece that holds the retaining clip for the bulb. Between doing that and the lenses not cleaning up the way I wanted, I said screw it. If I'm going to do it right, do it from the beginning. I didn't however order from those guys ^^ (toyotapartsdeal), because after some searching on here, they have a pretty bad reputation, especially for customer service. I hated having to drop that much money on just headlights, but at the same time, I'll have brand new ones that I know will function properly.

Trust me, OEM headlight assemblies are worth the money. Lots of aftermarket crap out there (even some that are CAPA certified) that have terrible optics and light patterns. Here's a couple of suggestions if you want to further improve your forward lighting.

First, keep a good coat of wax, polymer sealant or ceramic coating on the lenses. This will help prevent the oxidation that did in your original housings.

Second, if you want a relatively inexpensive lighting upgrade that significantly increases the amount of light on the ground without bothering oncoming drivers, do this: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-ultimate-headlight-upgrade-h4-not-led-or-hid.398066/
I have that upgrade in my truck and have never regretted doing it.

Great info, thanks! When I get them next week and installed, that's the first thing I will do is coat them with some wax. I have Sylvania Ultra bulbs which put out quite a bit of light compared to stock. I will look into the upgrade you're referring to.
