"Several" years ago I was stationed in WA State and three of us would go out duck hunting in season on the outskirts of the Hood Canal. Three morons before sunup in a Coleman canoe, the absolute biggest piece of shit on the water. Two paddling with a "midships" gunner. Holy Christ how we didn't die or lose a weapon. But we did get some ducks. We eventually upped our game to a sleek and stealthy Jon Boat...which is another chapter.

 

I've never been bird shooting, although an army friend keeps trying to take me.

 

Birds are a lot of fun, you'd probably enjoy it. Turkeys are by far my favorite hunt.

 

I walked the dog and melted into my recliner watching my son and daughter give my Wife her Birthday gifts

 

I got rid of my shotguns, though. I got bored with them lol.

I like hunting for the meat and hanging out with other dudes, but that's about it. I'm fascinated with my gun performance on the animals.

I don't like fishing.

 

I was not going to tell Josh about that part.

 

Smart SOB's. We've had them hang up close enough you could hear them breathing to gobble but you couldn't see them, unreal.

Same. I had one hide behind a headstone in a family graveyard on my Dads property in Alabama. Then he turned an walked. I never seen him again. Like a ghost
