I haven't bought Ben and Jerry's ice cream in the store since that road trip, if I did buy it more often I would know it's Jerry and not Gerry... I hope you and your family are doing well. ~ Take care, Mark

We are and I hope the same for you.
It doesn’t matter how it’s spelled.
It was cool before they sold you could actually go there and meet them when it was small.
Not sure they are involved other than the names now.

    Hey Jay,
We are ok, things are weird here the covid crap you know.
I wear a mask around mom you never know.
My wife is a nurse and my daughter is a manger at a grocery store.
The granddaughter gets around so everyone she or us meets etc.
Hope all is well with you and all those who helped me thru this.
I miss the old man and so does mom but I’m pretty sure she likes having it her way now!

    Thanks everyone be safe!!!

    edit.
TW and you awesome folks have been a huge help in more ways than I’d had thought!!!!
    I struggle to read this.

We were doing ok but the whole covid shit isn’t helping. She gets out less and has less company. I don’t go as often because the wife is a nurse and the daughter a manager at a local supermarket.
And we are together for meals etc.
Mom was hiding her depression/being lonely I should have seen it.
The wife just did what she does.
She has been been visiting more and in the hunt for helping her.
We wear masks when we visit she doesn’t need this thing.
I asked the wife when the covid hit if she wanted to retire or take a break during it.
She did not hesitate at all.
If everyone did that who would help them?
    Damm!
The wife and I discussed having the daughter take our house and we move to my moms.
It sounds good but I’d rather have mom move to my house. I’d love to have dads house and garage and toys!!!!!
But the house and property are high maintenance. And mom is anal about everything being just right.
But the garage and toys make up for it. My brother thinks she should either go to a home or move in with him.
Of course she would pay for a addition and a new mound system cause he’s had problems for years. Really that’s cool of him.
I miss the old man every day!
Very few rocks to lean on!
    Thank you buddy!
    You are a good person!

Yeah, this Covid stuff sucks, can't wait till it's over. Just gotta go one day at a time. Regardless of what you guys end up doing with your mother it's good to see everybody cares and that she's in good hands.

Hey everyone just a quick what’s going on here.
    It’s been a while sorry.
So we have found a home share person that is staying with mom. I love mom but we couldn’t live together in the same space.
2 yrs since the old man passed and I still think of him every day.
Moms doing ok. The woman who lives with her is a peace and love type she has helped open her eyes a little and does a lot of extras for her I think.
She calls my mom Miss Jean and takes her places cooks and they go for walks.
Definitely a load off my mind knowing someone is there.
The truck has been a rock just did my first wheel bearing and upper ball joint on drivers side. Ready to roll 200k dad didn’t believe in Toyota, American was his thing.
He wasn’t gonna sway on his opinion but he was still here when I got a new frame and over 150k. He was at least starting to acknowledge Toyota was a good bang for the buck.
I don’t log in here much anymore just no time. I do look every so often though.
I appreciate you all and thank you for your support.
I hope everyone enjoys the holidays!
This damm covid stuff is getting old glad we’re actually kinda doing well in VT.
The dog is a pain but he’s such a good dog!C3CDFCCF-9264-403C-999D-35C09FD017F4.jpg
Got some new summer rubbers for the taco.

The tire and wheel combo makes such a difference. 265/75/16 both sets.
cooper evolution mt and general artic altimax snows.

    Hi Patsy,
I’m just across the border in Vermont.
Thank you for doing what you have.
My wife is a nurse so I get what you’ve done.
I actually asked her if she wanted to just not work when the covid hit.
She’s a respite nurse she says well if we all did that who would help people who need it.
Damm you are a special breed!
Sorry about your situation also wishing you all the best.
I thank you for your kind words and prayers.
Not sure who needed who more Buckley our dog had a ruff year after his home was broken. We didn’t need a dog but no way I was gonna let him go to the pound.
He just turned 4 and we’ve had him a year+ he just recently let us change his collar.
He must have had a shock collar at some time.
He’s like having a kid in the house again.
He’s my bud Dad would have been tickled if I spent the amount of time there with him as I do now when he was here.

This damm covid shit has really gotten old.
    Moms doing ok.
Glad she has a roommate she’s been a godsend. I’ve had to settle a few things between them and one of mom’s neighbors.
They thought mom was being taken advantage of.
    Not the case at all!
This happened to the taco day before thanksgiving.5C9699A5-C8CC-489D-BB87-942C0B479CF9.jpgPicked this up 12/11
