This group buy is for the singer alternators for TOYOTA TACOMAS. Not Tundras. Not 4runners. Not your mom's car. Not your power wheels car. Please see fine print.

Specs for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation tacomas:

MDL - MSRP PRICE - IDLE OUTPUT

    180A - $349 - 150A (200A peak)
    200A - $369 - 150A (220A peak)
    220A - $429 - 155A (240A peak)
    250A - $469 - 160A (280A peak)
    275A - $489 - 160A (290A peak)
    300A - $529 - 160A (320A peak)
    320A - $549 - 160A (335A peak)

Powder coating is optional for $48 - Check Instagram or Facebook for color selection.

All alternators include a lifetime warranty on labor

One year on the components against any defect in workmanship

    Group buy pricing:

15% off listed MSRP on the first 6 units
20% off listed MSRP on 12 units or more

    Prices above are MSRP

    Shipping information:

    Free shipping is CONUS only.

Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada shipping must be custom quoted. Please PM if you want a custom quote. Quotes are $20 to $40 AVERAGE.

Turnaround times - Singer estimates a 5 - 6 week lead time per 10 units.

Capped at 20 units, per Singer's request. NO MORE THAN 20 PARTICIPANTS.

    Fine Print, read carefully:

    1. Singer offers voltage booster/regulators for Deep Cycle batteries, these can be purchased along with the alternator for $49. You MUST buy an alternator if you want this booster. If you want the booster by itself without the commitment of buying the alternator you would have to pay regular price off his ebay store.

    2. Singer has chosen to do group buys for Tundras and 4runners as well, pending the success of the Tacoma group buy. He has chosen to not do a group buy for all models at once to streamline his building process. Please respect this. Do NOT inquire to participate your tundra, your mom's Camry, your lawnmower, or your DeLorean build.

    3. These are NOT off the shelf alternators. They take time to build. They take time to get to you. Right now, Singer estimates a 5 - 6 lead time per 10 units. Maybe a little bit more due to the upcoming holidays. Patience is a virtue. If you need one NOW because of your upcoming camping trip, pay full price. Don't try to convince Singer or myself to get yours done before anyone else's.

    4. The alternator will bolt in place of the original factory location but will require a 1/2" - 1" shorter belt for the smaller pulley size.

    5. Singer has the right to cap this group buy if it gets too popular.

There is enough time to make up your mind or find a doctor to sell your kidney or pawn your wife’s jewelry. If you are on the fence to see if it’ll go up to max discount before you jump in, you are HOLDING the group buy back. Don’t be that dude.

I will be offline until Turkie day. So if I don't answer any questions, be patient.

    Discussion allowed.

Mr. Singer will have a link to this thread, he may or may not drop in to answer any questions. Please don't judge if he doesn't. I will get all your questions to him regardless.

I had a red singer in my 4runner and I can confirm never had an issue with it. Ran it for 5 years before I sold the 4runner.

I have a gold singer waiting to be installed in my Tacoma. I know some other TW members here run his products, please chime in!

How do you decide what amperage to get?

For a dual battery setup, winch, lights, and fridge - he recommended a 200 - 250 AMP for me.

Most offroad applications should be about 250 AMPs Max per Singer's recommendation when I last talked to him over my setup. But I am willing to forward any special "request" for him to give his input.

I will shoot him an email to see how he wants to handle these inquiries.

    *****************

If anyone wants me to get an amperage recommendation from Singer, please provide this information:

What is the size, brand and number of batteries you will be using?

How many amplifiers will be installed and what is the total wattage rating on them?

For Offroad applications, lights? Winch? Battery brand and type? Fridge?

I don't see many different applications from our group of guys, so I hope that the first couple of requests will cover everyone's needs.

I will copy/paste and email him.

Hmm, you failed to mention excluding FJ, I think these and Tacomas are universal, no?

If it’s early FJ it probably works. Later it’s different

I'm in for the 200A plus voltage booster/regulator.

I have a 2001 Tacoma 2.7L. Are the alternators the same for 4 or 6 cylinders?

Any recommendations on which belt to get?

I'll need to upgrade wiring. Is 1 awg good enough?

Will this alt trip the 140a fuses between my batteries currently?

    Truck info:
2001 Tacoma reg cab 2.7L. Dual standard lead batteries but looking to upgrade to agm. One battery is in the bed.
Has a winch, led offroad lights, hid retrofit, wired air compressor, and fridge when camping.

Any northstar battery group buys coming up?

Can you run the factory sized pulley instead? I have a lightened NST and would rather not change the belt. That made me on the fence but these look nice

The smaller pulley would be one of the reasons why the output of these alternators is bigger. You'd be dumbing down the output with a stock sized pulley.
