No sway bar. That’s long gone. I just picked up the kings a week ago. They’re used but freshly rebuilt with 0miles from a member on here.

Mine had that issue (#2), was contacting the banjo bolt on the caliper. Actually knocked it loose once and lost some brake fluid before I caught it.

hmm. That caliber could be it. Cause I only notice it at full lock backing out or turning into the drive way.

Also, just saw that my rear driver shock is leaking so wonder if that couldn’t be it?

Cool, appreciate the response. This mod is on my winter to do list. Will be getting the one with compass and temp https://www.crutchfield.com/p_220GEN20A/Gentex-ADVGEN20A.html and installing while I have my interior apart to install an amp and headunit mic.

It's honestly probably less. I usually install in the winter and don't really do any wheeling until summer/fall. I think I could kill a set after a single trip offroad. My latest theory is that the PTFE liner can't hold up to the abuse I put it through. I'm having better luck with moogs.

Wait so you add this to the cap it self and not the truck rails?

On regular canopies, I’ve always stuck it to the bottom of the cap. That way I could remove the canopy and use the truck for hauling stuff, etc.

The GFC has the double bulb seal on the bed rails, so it cradles the tubular space frame. I’m a lot less likely to remove the GFC, so that doesn’t bother me.

Is there another company other than redline tuning that does the hood strut kits for our trucks ?

    Yep.

Just a dedicated recreation rig, hunting, fishing, climbing ect. Most times it's being driven anymore it'll be on dirt by the time I reach my destination. Most trails are not overly difficult, think I was only on one this year that a stock truck couldn't have handled. I just drive fast and usually hit the gas instead of the brake when pothole/water bars arise. Truck weighs in around 5250lbs also. Load range E tires are also not very forgiving when still at street pressures.

Thanks for the shout-out @eon_blue . Our new line of ULTIMATE Lift high-lift hood struts also allows you to choose a hood opening height of up to 8" above prop rod height - we're the only manufacturer with this feature.

Oh, and we're having our Black Friday sale, now through Cyber Monday :)

    Here's an example on a 3rd Gen 4Runner:

Finally got the 4runner wheels I picked up this summer powder coated and put on new tires a couple weeks ago. Got my bed liner done yesterday, happy with how it came out. Been wanting to do one for quite some time. Had them drop on the tailgate a little extra to cover up some scratches and dings. Thinking of picking up a softopper next.
