Can anyone explain to me why my turn signals will hyper-flash, but not all the time. It generally starts off blinking at a regular speed, and will sometimes (maybe 1/3 of the time) start hyper flashing after a 10-15 seconds. I have aftermarket tail and head lights that made me hyperflash ALL of the time (drove me nuts), but once I installed the MESO ultimate turn signals about a year ago, it solved the hyperflash all together. It seems to have returned (intermittently) for no apparent reason. Thanks in advance for any help.

The resistors that stop the hyper flash, either bad connection on on their way out. Does it happen one side or both.?

The ecu needs to see a certain amount of load on the circuit too much or too little you get hyper flash...my guess is you got one or more individual leds going out creating the imbalance...I’m running leds on all of my exterior lighting except parking lights and license plate lights which are factory. I have no resistors and no hyper flash although I did experience hyper flash with different leds until I found a combination with the correct load on the circuit to trick the ecu.

I actually have no resistors connected, the initial (and constant) hyper flash stoped when I added the Meso turn signals (assuming his LEDs draw more load than the stock LEDs since they’re significantly brighter).

now that I think about it, I think it may only be when I have my left blinker on ... I have the spyder/Tacoma beast tail lights that don’t even have bulbs to replace since they are integrated. That’s when everything initially began.
