Looking to get some UCAs before I throw my new bilstein set up on. Seems that JBA's and SPC's are front runners here for price and adjustability. Came across these Ironmans and they look to be relatively new on the market. They look beefy and use OEM/OEM like bushings and balljoints which is good for ease and cost of future replacements but does that also just make them a glorified OEM style UCA? Just wondering if anyone that has these can comment any experience or if any suspension gods can provide their .02 here. Their specs don't provide a lot of actual detail but rather seem generic. Is there any gain of adjustability or travel with these?

    From their website:
    • The Ironman 4x4 upper control arms (UCAs) are engineered for the Tacoma to directly replace the OEM UCAs.

Ironman 4x4 upper control arms are forged with 4 degrees of caster correction for ideal wheel alignment from zero to full tuck, correcting the vehicle’s geometry back to OEM specs, generating outstanding performance and ride quality.

The Pro Forge UCAs feature drop forged construction resulting in improved strength to weight ratios, increased directional strength with reduced stress concentrations in corners and filets. The precision of drop forging consistently results in superior in strength, weight savings, and manufacturing tolerances when compared to machined, rolled, or other cast processes.

Wrapped in a hardened zinc coating, these UCA’s have up to 75% more corrosion resistance when compared to traditional paint or powder coating. This zinc coating provides maximum effectiveness at warding off the oxidation that typically leads to rust and corrosion.

We use OEM style ball joints and bushings that are tested and manufactured to strict Japanese specifications that are readily available at every dealership and parts store. They feature a fully hardened stud bound in a watertight sealed machined housing which doesn’t allow for contaminates to be introduced into the joint with grease guns or outside environment.

These feature packed control arms when paired with our suspension kits translate into unmatched off-road performance, and on-road ride quality for your rig.

I really think the use of OEM bushings is a bad move. They limit free movement of the control arm as it attempts to move up and down and can even limit overall travel supposedly due to its design.

It otherwise looks like a fantastic stronger and better than OE solution.
