Cryogenic Treament background science

I see a number of times cryo treatment coming up relating to gear replacement. Although I know some things about it from the work I do, this guy taught me a lot more. Thought I would share for those who might be interested in the spectrum of practical to theoretical background on cold treatment he goes through.
