Good morning everyone, so I’ve got a sweet 2012 DCLB 4x4. Absolutely love the truck I live in Hawaii so there’s plenty of off-road areas beaches to drive on etc. she sees plenty of mud at work. It’s a great truck. Anyway the radio isn’t working I have no Bluetooth option to even connect my phone or any apps navigation went away. It’s like it all disappeared. Pressing the bottoms does nothing. Radio works fine though. I also tried updating the radio to no success there. So now I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas or has had this issue, maybe there’s some components in the radio I could replace etc. (I rather not go aftermarket) and a new unit here is like 500 bucks or nothing from eBay ships to Hawaii! So I wanna fix it myself.

here is a video link to give you a better idea of exactly what is going on. Thank you.

Shoot I’ve done all that as well, even leaving the truck battery disconnected for some time as others with similar problems have suggested:/

I believe you set up the Bluetooth or the usb/aux by pressing the audio button not the apps button.
    Give that a try....

    Cheers!

Thank you! Still won’t go, I’m thinking there’s a component inside that’s busted waiting for someone to chime in

Mine did that (2012 JBL) and then a week later the screen went black. If I had to guess you have a short somewhere that is causing problems and you should head over to Crutchfield and start shopping for a replacement.

I second this opinion. Stock stereo is crap:
