Hey Everyone, Thanks for accepting me. I got the green light for a lift from the boss for Christmas! I have a 2017 Dbl Cab TRD Off-Road. I am looking at a $4K budget. I have a quote for a 3/2 lift with Bilstein 5100s, OME springs, rear block, with 285/70/R17 BFG KO2's and Rims at around $4200 with alignment. I was hoping to get some feedback on the setup, price, and overall value? Thanks again, and look forward to learning as much as I can. I am in Nor Cal Central Valley

Im assuming that's an installed price?

Does it include a cab mount chop?

Don't know what wheels you have picked but prices can vary wildly as well as fitment specs.

Call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and price suspension options. Either DIY or find a team of locals who will coach and assist for pizza and beverages.

Yes that is the out the door priced. They (4WD Parts) didnt think the cab mount chop was needed? Wheels are pro comp hammer or Phaser.

Thanks for the heads up. There are two other shops in my area that I will check out.

Welcome to Tacomaworld! 4 wheel part store vary so much from place to place that it’s hard to say how good of a shop they are. I got way more bang out of my buck by doing it myself. Minus the alignment. I rounded up a good friend with knowledge and we knocked it all out of the park in one day. Plus difficult parts I learned how to and even thought about some of the “what if” fixes if I break something off-roading. So I would encourage that with a confident friend if you plan on using the truck in more than just dirt roads.

also with the lift concerning the rear. The block is stupid simple to install. But if you plan to haul anything in the bed for camping you might wanna look into a full on leaf pack. Dobinson, Icon RXT, and maybe old man emu Dakar leaf pack will do great back there.

What is the lift breakdown. 5100s in all 4 corners?
