Wiring Accessories

Hey there fellow Taco enthusiasts. I tried searching the forum and could not find a thread on this subject, but I’m sure it’s somewhere.

When you have multiple electrical accessories on your truck (compressor, LEDs, etc). How are people wiring them up clean instead of having 4-5 wires coming from the battery?

 

Many people are adding a separate fuse block. I am posting right now regarding my specific set up so that may help too.

That's a good thread to get info from. I used what I learned there to build one out.
Of course after reading the dual battery and AGM threads, I'm probably going to end up going that route which will give me another 10 connection gang to use as well.

 

that set up looks so clean I want to go wit something like that just have to mount in a different spot my compressor sits there

 

Thanks, had never put one together before. After going through that thread I was able to plan it out and start getting the parts together. The breaker was from an earlier project, there is no way I'm going to need a 50A switch so that will get replaced. I have my winch on a separate breaker at the front next to the radiator.
There are a couple of different mounting locations that you will find in that thread. People put them all over.

 

I added a Blue Sea fuse block and STech switch panel to make it easy:

I updated the install by removing the thermal breaker and replaced with a Blue Sea MRBF Fuse Block like this one since I added a compressor:
