I'm not too familiar with this stuff - seems the bulb "number" is 4157 but there are still a few styles. The Dealership sold original equipment incandescent bulbs only so they could not give me an LED replacement that would definitely work.

Hoping if someone could tell me if either of the two above would work, PLUS will either further burn my headlight casings?

If not, what is the recommendation? I see some have replaced the DRLs with white and I'm open to that.

What year is your truck? And does it have led tail lights?

It’s the 4157A. Sylvania makes two of them either will work. You will get a hyper blinker flash unless you has a resistor to the circuit.

Aw man: 2010 Long Bed Sport 4x4.

The tail lights are either LED or "LED Look." I've never had them apart so I always wondered what's inside them. The brake light and running light are the kind that look like a sunburst - light in the middle and a ring of dots. Are they really LED or just a bulb and a fancy lens?

The tops of the tail lights are amber incandescent and you can see them through the clear lens.

As Gotoman said if you use LEDs you have to add a resistor to each side to stop the hyper flash. 3157A same as 4157A (amber is the A part).
Al lot of the new headlights have more clearance bulb to housing so should not melt them. Toyota had a TSB but never told anyone as usual so we all missed the free replacement headlights. Most of the aftermarkets leak even after sealing so OEM is best and costly. I have Depo ones and they leaked but I drilled drain hole sin the bottoms. Still a pain but cheap. Yes rear running lamps are LED but stops are 3157A as fronts. Lots of posts on options for you.
